Jean-Pierre Fournel has been in the maritime construction field for more then 23 years. Graduating in 1982 from the Landing Boat School in Kennebunkport(Maine), he taught boatbuilding at the school for a year before returning to Quebec. He then started up his own business in wooden boat construction and repair. Later on, he also began a consultation service and upon completing courses with NAVTECH, became a qualified marine surveyor. To date, Jean-Pierre Fournel has completed over a dozen new commissions, effected countless repairs and has assisted many amateur boatbuilders in the realization of their dreams.
